Paola Augusta Pettini, an internationally awarded artist who tries her hand at oil painting, comes from Terni.
The pictorial style of the talented author presents a soft and pleasant graphic style at first glance thanks to the seductive lines that recall the naturalistic world or, as in the work on the poster, still life, genres revisited under an enigmatic and at the same time intellectual light. But Paola Augusta Pettini's artistic investigation does not stop only at the beauty of nature but rather observes a commendable introspective path that goes from the torment of the soul to the dreamlike landing, up to existentialist oblivion, to pass through the journey of the psyche.
The softness of the signs allows a reading of quiet achieved by the human soul through a harmonious and positive internalized path. The artist manages to give us an "other" look at the human unconscious, with gestural emphasis and excited graphic interpretations suspended in time and space.
His works have been exhibited in Miami (USA), London, Rome, Venice, Berlin, Barcelona, Spoleto, Cesenatico, Padua, Modena and in the Principality of Monaco in Montecarlo.
